In this task you are asked to read 20 tweets written by an Internet user about a Hollywood movie.

Please judge what the content of the tweets is. Your available options are:

Option Select this option if ... Example
Explicit call for others to watch, not to watch, vote, post or tell others about the movie ... the tweet encourages others to watch, not to watch, vote, post or tell others about the movie. Do not choose this option for genenral statements such as "see the link"or "check out on YouTube". Select this if the tweet goes beyond just an opinion, or a watching intention, but it rather calls others to act. "Run to the theatre!!! Now!!!". Another example: "Do not waste your time. Stay home."
Watching intentions of the tweet author ... the tweet expresses explicit intentions of the user to watch or not watch the movie. Watching intentions are stronger than just an opinion, they relate to a future planned action. "I'm waiting for Captain America, Kung Fu Panda 2, Pirates of the Caribbean now."
Opinion ... the tweet expresses the user's opinion about the movie, its production, or its cast. The opinion can be either positive or negative. "Did not think I would care about Kung Fu Panda 2. But if a #Tintin teaser is attached to it, I am starting to like the idea."
A non-opinionated description of the movie storyline or soundtrack ...the tweet is descriptive, and relates to the movie storyline and plot without stating an explicit opinion. "Po joins forces with a group of new kung-fu masters to take on an old enemy with a deadly new weapon."
Gossip about the movie cast or production team ... the tweet describes a piece of gossip about the movie cast or production team that is not related directly to the movie or its making. "The relative newbie Brit Marling managed to score the first look from the Preen Resort 2012 collection, with her pink dress with an asymmetrical split."
A mention of the movie ... the tweet is a casual or informational mention of the movie, its approaching release, its production, or its cast, but does not deal with a specific aspect of it, is not opinionated, and does not call for action or specifies a watching intention. This is a quite common category. "Sydney Film Festival: Jack Black and Lucy Liu coming to the premiere of Kung Fu Panda 2."
This tweet is not in English ... the tweet text is not English (e.g. Spanish, Arabic etc.)
Other ... the topic of the post is not related to the movie, and only if none of the above categories match. This does not happen often.

Note:
  • These categories contain hierarchy. If a tweet has a call for action, it will be classified as such although a call for action is also an opinion, and might contain watching intentions of the user. Similarly, Watching Intentions dominate opinions. "Storyline", "Gossip about the movie cast or production team", and "Mention" should be selected only if the post is not opinionated by nature. For example, ''Demi Moore is looking great after the divorce. I can't wait to watch her new movie.'' is a combination of Gossip about the movie cast or production team, Opinion, and Watching Intentions. The correct choice in this case is Watching Intentions.
  • Some of the tweets on this HIT can be retweets. Therefore you might get the same tweet several times in a HIT. This is perfectly fine, just be self-consistent.
  • It is OK if you have not watched the movie. If you need more information about the movie, you can find it on IMDb http://www.imdb.com/.
Here you find examples of a typical task in this HIT. The correct answer is given below each example.
