This foundation was created in memory of Israel Gal-Ed, one of the foremost executives in the public and business sector, as well as a teacher in the School of Business Administration. The foundation encourages communication between the academic, business, public and government communities in Israel. It holds field days and meetings in which students and the general public can meet the leading executives in Israel. The foundation sends each year up to two students to academic conferences, or to a professional program abroad. It also carry out a computation center which monitors the Israeli Stock Market.
