The foundation was founded in 1988 by the Zagagi family, in memory of Mordechai Zagagi, a pioneer in the field of public accounting, and creator and first chairman of the Stock Market Committee (Later Stock Market Ministry). The foundation maintains discussions and research of the stock market and public sector. In recent years the research has been focused on the stock market and banking.
